Founded in 2023, Ceylon Stallions Cricket Club began with six passionate cricketers who came together from various clubs, united by a shared vision to bring their skills and love for the game to the Auckland community cricket arena. Combining the experience of seasoned players with the energy of promising newcomers, the club quickly became a vibrant hub for friendship, teamwork, and sporting excellence, fostering strong connections among players, sponsors, and the wider Sri Lankan community in New Zealand.
In our debut season (2023/24), we made history as unbeaten champions, and in our second season (2024/25), we proudly finished as overall runners-up—cementing our place among the top contenders. Today, Ceylon Stallions competes in the highest grade of Auckland community cricket, showcasing pure Sri Lankan cricketing talent and a commitment to playing the game in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
